Grahame and Graham (Junior) Vaughan became good friends of mine when they came to the Florida in the late eighties to learn to fly. As Father and Son they have an avid interest in all things mechanical, especially older machinery. Being typically British, they have a collection of older items which includes a 1946 Aeronca Chief aeroplane (airworthy), various vintage motorcycles and vintage stationary engines. Presently they are building a three wheel car called a Pembelton, this utilizes Citroen 2CV mechanicals. (See links)
THE AERONCA CHIEF
The Vaughans restored this 1946 Aeronca Chief following its importation from the USA. Graham Senior hand painted the Indian Chief's head on the doors.
