FORMULA ONE NEWS:      (These are updated links to the F1technical web site)

I have been interested in Motor racing since the early sixties. I saw Graham Hill's World Championship winning BRM at a car show in Birmingham, and from that day I was hooked!

My "hero" the late, very great Graham Hill, World Champion 1962 and 1968

The only ever winner of the "Triple Crown" :  F1 World Championship, The Indy 500 and the Le Mans 24 Hour.

The Hill family have another first, Damon Hill, Graham's Son was Formula One World Champion in 1996 driving for Williams.

I have followed Formula One since 1962 and was specially pleased when my second "hero" Nigel Mansell became F1 World Champion.

Nigel Mansell "The Lion", Formula One World Champion 1992, CART Indy Car champion 1993

The only driver ever to hold both championships at the same time.

Nigel is still racing in 2006, Here he is in action at Silverstone in the GP Masters

He retired, but won the South African race earlier in the year.
