1992 Honda CX500

MGB V8 CONVERSION

During the period 1986 through 1996 I converted a 1979 MGB Roadster with rubber bumpers to look like

a sixties style car with a chrome grille and bumpers. At the same time the engine was changed from the

four cylinder 1800 cc to an all aluminum Oldsmobile F-85 3500 cc V8. The conversion included a hotter cam

and a four barrel Carter carburetor. Total horsepower was about 200. The interior was redone in black

velour and a mohair hood installed.

NG KIT CAR

This NG  kit car was built in Saudi Arabia with components from a MGB donor car.

It took approximately 1 1/2 years of my spare time to build the car.

                                                                        This Ford Cortina 1600E was purchased while I was serving in Germany, it was ordered

                                                                         through a German Ford Dealer and I picked it up in London from Ford's export office.

                                                                        This really nice car was Dark Blue with a red pin stripe and black interior, additionally it

                                                                        is a very rare Right Hand Drive 2 door model.
